Sound Workshop for Technicians

The workshop focuses on a number of key aspects to think about and to take care of when digitizing analog sound
recordings. It will first walk through some general digitization principles, handling issues, and most importantly how
to get the best signal off the original recording. According to IASA TC04, the crucial steps to realize a high quality
digital transfer, such as the mechanical and electrical adjustments for instance, are outlined and practically
demonstrated.
